Can you believe it!! I have not only been nominated in the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ category in the prestigious ’2010 Specsavers everywoman in Retail Awards’, but I’ve just found out I’m one of three finalists!
How exciting is this!! The glittering awards ceremony is to be compered by TV presenter Gok Wan and will take place on 14th September at the InterContinental Hotel, in London’s Park Lane. I’ve been nominated as an inspirational female role model, and for taking bold strides in fashion retail!
Some of you may remember us winning the award for the New Forest’s ‘Best Loved Business’ – from the Best Of… group, back in February 2010 and I am delighted that our shoes and accessories boutique and party plan business has gained, and is continuing to build a reputation for excellent service and an inclusive approach to all customers.
I’m really glad that the hard work is also great fun and I have tried to establish between myself and my team that our primary aim is always to make our customers feel special and to have a genuinely good time at our shop and at our parties.
I am currently looking for agents in and around the Lymington area, who enjoy ladies, shoe and handbags and would like an additional income source – so please pass this on to anyone who may be interested!
